Jody Avirgan is a podcast host and producer at ESPN and FiveThirtyEight. He's the host of FiveThirtyEight's elections podcast and will soon be launching "30 for 30" podcast documentaries with ESPN. He also hosts the live comedy/storytelling show Ask Roulette, with regular shows in New York City and elsewhere.
Mike Joseph is an entertainment industry veteran, a music journalist, and a podcast and radio host. Currently, he hosts the Jheri Curl Chronicles show on Radio Free Brooklyn and its related podcast, which you can find on iTunes as well as on Mike's own site, popblerd.com. Mike is also a mental health activist and an advocate for the LGBTQ community. He was born in and is once again based in Brooklyn, NY.
Ben Lillie is a high-energy particle physicist who left the ivory tower for the wilds of New York's theater district. He has a B.A. in physics from Reed College, a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford University, and a Certificate in improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He is the founder of Caveat, an event space dedicated to intellectual nightlife opening soon. He is also co-founder of The Story Collider, where people are invited to tell stories of their personal experience of science, is a Moth StorySLAM champion, and was a writer and contributing editor for TED.com.
Gabrielle Shea is a devoted wife and mother to 3 beautiful girls. Aside from her family and career, she's found passion in building and nurturing her blog thersdays.com which launched on National Honesty Day along with Honest Tea's social media campaign where she revealed a little white lie to her two oldest daughters. Shortly after, she discovered the world of story telling. Her introduction into this life was with First Person Arts (FPA), a non-profit organization in Philly. In addition to Winning the first competition she entered, she shared a story at Philadelphia City Hall as a performer in their Culture in the Courtyard Series and finished in the top 3 in New York City's acclaimed The Moth Story Slam.
