Stories by:

Tracey Croisier is a former high school librarian and winner of six Moth StorySLAMs. Prior to moving to Seattle, Tracey was a chain-smoking New Yorker for 20 years, working on Wall Street and anchoring The Dawn Patrol, a financial radio show. She's currently hard at work on You Done Us Wrong, her historical novel about the Buck v. Bell Supreme Court case that allows the U.S. government to sterilize 'unfit' women. Tracey enjoys reading, hot yoga and outrigger canoeing with the fine Seattle SAKE team.

Sam Blackman is a physician-scientist and pediatric oncologist. He's the founder and chief medical officer of Day One Biopharmaceuticals, a company focused on drug development for childhood cancers. He's an avid storyteller, baker of bread, and recently returned from a trek to Everest Base Camp. Sam lives on Orcas Island with his wife and daughter.

Katharine Strange is a writer, activist, and mom based in Seattle. Her writing has appeared in many outlets including The Huffington Post, The Seattle Times, and ScaryMommy. Whether she’s reporting on educational equity or penning a satirical take on The Bachelor, she hopes her work will lead readers to examine prejudices, expand empathy, and at least once, laugh hard enough to pee themselves.

Heretic Hereafter is her weekly tongue-in-cheek Substack newsletter about life after leaving Christian fundamentalism.

Keeonna Harris (she/her) is a memoirist, creative nonfiction writer, and abolitionist scholar, whose work centers the experiences of Black women. Her memoir "Mainline Mama" will debut in 2025 from Amistad Press. She is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Washington.
