Born 09/02/1953 adopted at birth from Rural Oahu in the Territory of Hawaii, Tommy Ching was in the US Army and National Guard for 4 years, moved to Hawaii Island in 1979 and was a radio deejay on and off since the first state wide radio show, he was a Pirate that sailed around islands each week played anything he could find - from Zappa to Sinatra to Marley to Charlie Daniel on a creekin ship with ocean water sloshing all around. Tommy has hosted too many concerts to mention. Nowadays he is at home with no work now and gets to take it easy, and exercise, swim, walk, and eat what he likes, but in moderation. He's been in Kona for 40 years, and enjoyed his own small piece of that for these last 21 yrs.
