Rasheeta Chandler is the director of The QuEEN Savvy (Quality, Equitable, & Electronic iNterventions for Savvy women) lab and co-lead of Synergistic Sistahs In Science (SIS) collaborative. An academician & Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Chandler currently works at the NHWSON, Emory University. Dr. Chandler's research focuses on Sexual and Reproductive Health with an emphasis on HIV prevention using technological methods (e.g. apps & telemedicine) for Black women.

 

Kristen Clayton is a curator and storyteller of sacred spaces and the people who occupy them. As a nonprofit professional with experience focusing on the intersection of art and nature, the arts sector, community organization, placemaking, event planning, and education her mode and medium of storytelling has taken many different forms always functioning through the lens of experimentation and the creative practice. With a MA in Nonprofit Management and Arts Administration from the University of Oregon, her experience includes program development, research, and evaluation for the High Museum of Art, Atlanta Contemporary, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, and TNTP’s We are the Dream Storytelling Collective. Currently, Kristen is the Public Events Coordinator for Science ATL! Kristen lives in Atlanta and is also an artist and continues to practice her passion for art which combines abstraction and botanical paintings. With a BA in Art History from the University of South Florida, she enjoys appreciating and being inspired by the public art of the city.

 

Michael Czajkowski is a soft matter physicist, science policy advocate, amateur bicycle pilot, and public speaking enthusiast. In their research, they design and study special materials that have been punctured, folded and otherwise damaged in strategic ways so that they will move in unusual and controllable ways. Their field of study deals with tangible real events and objects that surround us, and they try to use this advantage to educate and advocate for scientific literacy. Kellie Vinal is a PhD biochemist, science writer, educator, producer, and interdisciplinary artist based in Atlanta, GA. She's exorbitantly jazzed about where science, art, and society meet.. and generally can't sit still.
