Michele Carlo is a native New Yorker, a Nuyorican, a natural redhead, and remembers when a slice of pizza (and the NYC subway) cost 50 cents. As a storyteller, she has performed across the U.S., including Joe’s Pub, RISK! live shows and podcast, and The Moth’s Mainstage in NYC; and has appeared on NPR (“Latino USA”) and PBS (“Latino Americans of NY & NJ,” “Stories from the Stage”). Rebecca Stronger was born and raised in Brooklyn, and she's also left the neighborhood quite a few times. She has spent the majority of the last few decades successfully juggling her two careers as an Acrobat and as a Veterinarian. After having a kid and a looooong pandemic, she is super excited to be back on a stage, telling stories. Rebecca also really really really loves handstands.
Angel Yau is an established comedian from Queens, New York. Angel is also known as "Quirky Rice" in the critically acclaimed musical sketch group, AzN PoP! She starred in an Amazon/Funny or Die collab, "Soojung Dreams of Fiji,” and was recently featured in a BBC documentary about herself being an Asian-American woman in comedy dealing with mental health. Angel is also an award-winning filmmaker and writer. Angel founded, and currently hosts, "Asian American Film Thing" and "Shoes off, Mouth off," both shows featuring AAPI artists, filmmakers, and storytellers.
Carl Zimmer is a columnist for the New York Times, where he has been covering Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic. He is also the author of 14 books about science, including Life's Edge: The Search For What It Means To Be Alive.
