Diana Li, PhD, is a scientist, educator, and science communicator based at Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute where she is the Associate Director of Education and Training Initiatives. There, she runs neuroscience public engagement programs for the local community and trains neuroscientists on creative, inclusive ways to share their research. She earned her PhD in biology from Stanford University during which she studied the neurophysiology and biomechanics of squid swimming and coordinated marine biology outreach programs in her lab. She loves every opportunity to talk about all things cephalopod (and science), and she has been featured on Story Collider, Science Friday, Secret Science Club, Nerd Nite NYC, and multiple shows at Caveat.
