**SOLD OUT** Advanced Storytelling Workshop - July 2023

CONTINUING YOUR STORYTELLING EDUCATION

Join us for this in-depth storytelling workshop! In this workshop led by Executive Director Erin Barker, you will focus on finding and developing a specific true, personal story about science and workshopping that story with other science storytellers from our community. This four-week class will take place weekly on Thursdays from July 6th through the 27th from 6-7:30pm ET.

What to expect:

We expect you to know the basics of storytelling and the general vocabulary The Story Collider uses to describe and understand stories. Ideally, you will have already taken our introductory storytelling class, but that is not required.

We limit class size to under 10 people in order to make sure there is enough one-on-one attention.

Class Instructor: Erin Barker

Our program:

  • July 6 - Revisiting our introductory curriculum and refreshing our brains, then beginning the story brainstorming process

  • July 13 - Choosing a story to develop and refining our stories in preparation for workshop

  • July 20 & July 27 - Workshopping each of our stories! You’ll have the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from the instructor as well as fellow participants.
