Louis Jennings is an attorney in the New York office of the global law firm Sidley Austin LLP. He represents large cap and middle-market private equity funds, family offices, and other private capital investors and asset managers, as well as their portfolio companies, in connection with complex transactions involving domestic and cross-border leveraged buyouts, follow-on acquisitions and rollups, take-privates, carve-outs, divestments and liquidity and exit events. Louis has advised private equity and strategic clients on transactions in a wide range of industries including life sciences, software and technology, media and telecommunications, retail and consumer products, and energy and infrastructure as a practicing lawyer in the United States, Singapore and Australia.
Prior to joining Sidley, Louis was an associate in the corporate division of another global law firm in the firm’s Brisbane, Australia and Singapore offices. Louis received his LL.B and B.J from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
