Storytellers:
Amber Drea is a writer, editor, and storyteller who's appeared on the Risk! podcast, Mortified Live, The Soundtrack Series, and many other shows. She lives in Naperville with her son and two cats.
Suzie Campbell is a single mom living in Evanston, IL with her two children and a cat named Magic. A Loyola University Chicago alum with a degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies, she now works as an IT manager for a non-profit company. Suzie knows that reproductive journeys are not always linear, sexuality is not always straightforward, and that seeking support for mental health treatment - especially in relation to motherhood - isn’t something shameful. She believes if more people talk about these ideas openly, the stigma around them will decrease over time. In her free time, she curates new playlists to suit her moods, takes her kids on adventures, collects beach glass, and enjoys finding treasures in thrift stores and alleys with the intention of bringing them back to life, but instead leaving them to sit in a closet for years. If she has one true goal in life, it is perhaps best summed up by Karen Thompson Walker, one of Suzie's favorite authors. To paraphrase: concede nothing and see the possibilities in everything.
