The Story Collider returns to Atlanta with four true, personal stories about folks getting into (and out of) some real pickles! This show is in a new venue in historic Underground Atlanta and hosted by Kellie Vinal and Emma Yarbrough.

There is a paid parking deck at Pryor st and MLK Jr. Drive. Street parking on MLK and Wall street is free after 7. Five Points MARTA station is directly across the street from Underground Atlanta. For handicap accomodations, email emmayarbrough@storycollider.org

UK Musa (like the United Kingdom), is an engineer from Wisconsin who has taken on a lot of different kinds of work—from teaching in STEM to color matching paint for perfume bottles. UK currently works as a project manager at Gemu Valves.

 

David Perdue is an Atlanta comedian who has appeared on Comedy Central, FuseTV, EPIX. David is also an actor appearing in "Love Is..." on OWN and "Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits and Monsters" on truTV.  David co-hosts the hilarious sports/comedy podcast "Forth and Ten" hosted on ForthDistrict.com, as well as the political/comedy podcast “The Confused Caucus”. In 2022 David was selected as an Arts & Social Justice Fellow at Emory University in addition to a 2022 Climate Comedy Cohort created & directed by Generation180 & the Center for Media & Social Impact’s Good Laugh Initiative. As you can see David is many things but most importantly he is NOT a former US Senator.

 

Scottie Rowell is a Queer, Agender, Autistic artist based in Atlanta, GA. In 2022, they created the show SUPER CELLO for the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center’s Music for Young Audiences series.

 

Emma Yarbrough is a storyteller, actor, playwright, arts administrator and silly billy from beautiful (and tiny) Eufaula, Alabama. Fans of Story Collider in Atlanta may recognize her as one of our producers and hosts. During the day, she’s the assistant director of Emory Arts at Emory University. At night, she’s a handmaiden to her cats Christopher Robin and Christopher Lloyd.
