Saad Sarwana is a Pakistani-American Physicist and Geek.  His research is in superconducting electronics. He has over 40 peer reviewed publications and two US patents. Saad is also an amateur comedian for 20+ years, and is on a personal quest to perform in every state in the US, he is about halfway there.  Saad has combined his love of Geekdom and his south asian heritage to create the “Science Fiction and Fantasy Spelling Bee”, a show he hosts at various local cons. On most days you can find him in the lab or home playing with his kids (he doesn’t get out much!). He lives in Westchester County, NY (home of the X-men!).

Raj Sivaraman is a writer, comedian, and writer/comedian (Oh! And scientist!). He is one of the co-hosts of the Universe City podcast, which breaks down scientific papers for mainstream audiences, and has performed in several festivals all over the country and presented his research at as many international scientific conferences. As a sketch writer, he released an album in 2012 entitled “In Case of Emergency” and was one of the main writers/performers for Boston News Net. He also asked out Kate Middleton on a date, and she no-showed. But he’s too proud to take her back now.

Voiceover credits include David Letterman, Beavis and Butthead and Angelo Rules. Her short comedy, My BFF, rated 95% funny on Funny or Die and audience favorite at New Filmmakers. As a speechwriter for the Tribeca Film Festival and the Gotham Awards, her words were uttered by Oscar winners and fancy people with great clothes. Gail is currently working on her fashion sense.

Jeff Simmermon is a comedian and storyteller based in New York City. His first comedy album, "And I Am Not Lying," was released this past June through Comedy Dynamics. He's also the producer/performer behind a variety show of the same name that combines stand-up, storytelling, burlesque, sideshow and music on the second Friday of every month at UCB East. He has won multiple Moth StorySLAMS, including a GrandSLAM in March of 2014, and his stories have appeared on This American Life, The Moth's podcast, and in written form on The Paris Review Daily.
