Christine Williams
Producer - New York City
With a BFA from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, Christine’s world has been richly colored by the transformative power of theatre and its limitless expressive possibilities. From captivating audiences nationwide as a touring actress to conducting impactful theatre workshops in correctional facilities with The Public Theatre, her journey through the performing arts has been nothing short of a thrilling adventure.
Christine’s passion for theatre has always been intertwined with a deep commitment to community building. At the heart of this journey lies my involvement with Collective Focus, a mutual aid hub where she coordinates the distribution of free food and resources to those in need. Here, and throughout Brooklyn, she’s dedicated significant time and effort towards initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable populations and supporting low-income communities. These enriching experiences have not only broadened her worldview but also cemented her faith in the power of collective action and the profound impact that storytelling can have in uniting people, fostering a sense of belonging, and igniting a spirit of empowerment.
If you ask her, the real magic happens when stories come to life, transcending the stage and creating connections that are both profound and personal. As a Producer she is beyond excited to be a part of Story Collider where science and storytelling dance in a beautiful symphony. Christine’s passion for weaving narratives has found a new home, and she’s eager to help others share their own unique encounters with science, creating a tapestry of tales that are as diverse as they are inspiring.
