Two nerds fall in love (explicit)
Biologist Kelly Smith and comic artist Zach Weiner were having trouble dating, until they met online and realized what they each needed was another nerd.
“I had one boyfriend accuse me of cheating because, 'No one would study fish behavior on weekends.'”
Biologist and comic artist
Kelly Weinersmith is a PhD student at the University of California Davis studying how parasites manipulate the behavior of their hosts. She is currently conducting experiments measuring the hormone levels of parasitized fish. When not zombifying fish, she co-hosts a podcast called "The Weekly Weinersmith," about everything from biology to economics to 3D printing to astronomy. Kelly is also an American Association of University Women fellow.

Zach Weinersmith is the creator of the comic strip Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. He has a degree in literature and 3/8ths of a degree in physics. He published a science fiction gamebook entitled "Trial of the Clone," and is currently running a kickstarter for a book of science themed comics, called "Science: Ruining Everything Since 1543." He also co-hosts "The Weekly Weinersmith" with Kelly.
