The fertility challenge
A 40-year old artist struggles with fertility treatments.
“I'm mostly terrified of two things: One, having a baby and all of the freedom I'll lose, and two, not having a baby, and all the joy that I will miss.”
Writer, performer, and visual artist
Tricia Rose Burt is a writer, performer, and visual artist. She is currently performing her autobiographical one-woman show, I Will Be Good, throughout New England and the South. The show was presented at this year's 15th Annual FringeNYC and was selected as part of the FringeNYC Encore Series. In addition, she has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour, the Moth Mainstage, and on a recent Moth podcast. An award-winning visual artist, her work can be found in both private and corporate collections. In a prior life, Tricia managed marketing and communications programs for several of America's leading business institutions, until she attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and discovered she was an artist. Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, she maintains a studio and lives with her husband in Hancock, NH.
